
FRANKLIN, TN (September 30, 2008) - Big Idea, Inc., an Entertainment Rights group company and the leading faith-based studio
and producer of children’s and family programming, characters and brands, announced today that the Company has appointed
VeggieTales co-creator, Mike Nawrocki, to VP Development.
In this newly created position, Nawrocki will oversee all creative and production at the Big Idea studio, including the popular
VeggieTales and 3-2-1 Penguins! series.
Known for his visionary role as writer, director and voice of the beloved Larry the Cucumber, Nawrocki will expand his current leadership position and creative responsibilities to spearhead the development and launch of new series, brands and properties for Big Idea. In this new role, Nawrocki will oversee Big Idea’s creative development team based in Franklin, TN. Nawrocki's initial focus will include developing an original new VeggieTales TV series. He will also cultivate new strategic partnerships and alliances in the creative community to help expand the Big Idea portfolio

Mike Nawrocki has created, written and directed most of the extremely popular “Silly Songs with Larry” VeggieTales segments, written and directed many VeggieTales episodes, and voices numerous characters for VeggieTales, LarryBoy and 3-2-1 Penguins!. His most recent directorial credits include Big Idea’s second feature film, The Pirates Who Don't Do Anything™ - A VeggieTales Movie®, from Universal Pictures and Big Idea, which is distinguished among the top ten most successful faith-based films of all time.
